When you need something cut, waterjet is the most versatile option available. A high-pressure stream of water mixed with abrasive garnet cuts through virtually any material — metals, plastics, rubber, foam, composites — without heat, so there's no warping, no heat-affected zone, and full structural integrity preserved.
JFD Cutting has been running waterjets since day one in 2012. We have two dedicated machines so we can handle your job without bottlenecks.

Why Waterjet?
Waterjet cutting produces no heat, which means no thermal distortion, no hardening of edges, and no change to the material properties. The cut edge is smooth and typically needs minimal finishing. Tolerances are between ±0.010" and ±0.015".
Because the waterjet uses water and natural abrasive (garnet), it's also the most environmentally friendly cutting method — no fumes, no hazardous dust, and the water is recycled.
Materials We Cut on Waterjet
- Mild steel, stainless, aluminum, copper, brass, titanium
- Tool steel, AR400, AR500
- Acrylic, HDPE, UHMW, polycarbonate, nylon, Delrin
- Rubber, gasket material, foam, composites
How It Works
Send us your DXF, DWG, or STEP file with material and thickness info. We'll quote it, program the cut, and have your parts ready — most jobs ship or are ready for pickup within a few days. For repeat jobs, our machines save the program so reorders are even faster.
